  • HausVorteil AG receives authorisations pursuant to Sections 34i and 34d of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO)

  • Registration in the intermediary registers creates the basis for the further expansion of BodoBroker

  • Customers and investors are to gain access to real estate, financing and insurance solutions from a single source

HausVorteil AG (Ticker: KA1 / ISIN: DE000A31C222) has received authorisation from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce to act as a real estate loan intermediary pursuant to Section 34i of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO) and as an insurance intermediary pursuant to Section 34d GewO. In addition, the company has been entered in the corresponding intermediary registers. This expands HausVorteil’s regulatory basis for the further development of the BodoBroker platform and creates additional prerequisites for integrating real estate-related financing and insurance solutions into the existing business model in a structured manner.

With the new authorisations, HausVorteil AG can specifically expand its range of services relating to equity release, real estate brokerage and structured real estate transactions. The objective is not only to provide owners, investors and professional market participants with access to suitable real estate opportunities via BodoBroker, but also, prospectively, to offer complementary solutions in the areas of real estate loans and insurance.

In the area of real estate loan intermediation, HausVorteil plans to broker suitable financing offers in the future as a partner of ProHyp and in cooperation with selected broker pools. BodoBroker is thus intended to be developed into a platform through which real estate opportunities, financing solutions and transaction-related services can be brought together more efficiently. For investors, this can create additional value, particularly in the review and implementation of acquisitions, co-buyer structures, land acquisitions with heritable building rights, or other equity-release models.

The authorisation pursuant to Section 34d GewO also opens up new opportunities in the insurance sector. In the context of real estate transactions, financing and long-term usage concepts, insurance-related issues regularly arise. These include, for example, building insurance, liability solutions, insurance coverage in connection with financing and ownership, as well as other product-specific insurance matters. HausVorteil intends to integrate these topics into the platform offering in the future through suitable partner structures and broker pools.

“With the authorisations pursuant to Sections 34i and 34d GewO, we are creating an important basis for the next stage of BodoBroker’s development. Our goal is to more closely connect real estate, financing partners, insurance providers, investors and customers. Equity-release structures in particular often involve complex interfaces between property value, financing, insurance coverage and long-term use. This is where we aim to create additional value in the future and make relevant solutions accessible from a single source,” explains Sören Ploschke, CFO of HausVorteil AG.

For HausVorteil AG, the expansion of its licensing basis is another building block of its platform and capital markets strategy. While BodoBroker is already positioned as a digital access point for investors and selected real estate opportunities in the field of equity release, the platform is to be further developed into a more comprehensive network for property owners, investors, financing partners, insurance providers and specialised service providers.

The specific intermediation of real estate loans and insurance will be carried out in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements and depending on the respective product, provider and individual customer situation. Through cooperation with established partners, broker pools and financing platforms, a broad range of suitable solutions is to be made accessible, without HausVorteil issuing its own banking or insurance products for this purpose.

With the expanded service offering, HausVorteil is pursuing the objective of further professionalising the execution of real estate-related transactions. In the future, owners are to gain easier access to suitable liquidity, financing and insurance solutions. At the same time, investors can benefit from more structured transaction preparation, improved follow-up processes and stronger integration of relevant service providers.
