3. Legal Basis and Storage Duration

a) Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

  • Where we obtain consent for data processing, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

  • If data processing is required for the performance of a contract with you or your company, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

  • If processing is required to fulfill a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.

  • If vital interests of you or another person require data processing, Article 6(1)(d) GDPR applies.

  • Where processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests and your rights do not override those interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies.

  • Additionally, data may be processed under the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), e.g., during recruitment.

b) Storage Duration and Data Deletion

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to achieve its purpose. Once that purpose no longer exists, data is deleted or restricted from further processing.

Data required to establish, perform, or terminate a contract, or for statutory retention obligations (e.g. §257 HGB, §147 AO), is retained as long as required. Data used for direct marketing is stored only as long as a legitimate interest exists, but no longer than two years after contract termination—unless you object to such processing.

If we process your personal data, you are a “data subject” under the GDPR and have the following rights:

5. Website Visitors and Log Files

Each time you visit our website, our system automatically collects data such as:

  • Browser type

  • Operating system

  • Internet service provider

  • IP address

  • Date and time of visit

  • Referrer URL and visited pages

These data are stored in log files but are not combined with other personal data.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in ensuring website functionality, optimizing performance, and maintaining IT security.
Data are deleted or anonymized after 7 days.




6. Contact Form


When you contact us via the online form, the following data are collected:
name, address, (optional date of birth), email, phone, preferred contact method, (optional) referral source, and your message.
We may forward your inquiry to partners, banks, processors, or appraisers as needed.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR.
Data are deleted once no longer needed unless retention is legally required.

Zoho CRM is used to manage contact data. Data are stored within the EU; support may access data from India under EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

7. Contact via Email, Phone, or Mail


If you contact us by email, phone, or mail, the transmitted personal data will be processed to handle your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR.
Data will be deleted once the matter is resolved and no legal retention obligations exist.




8. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

a) Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies for the proper operation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and optional cookies for analytics or external content (with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser or via our Consent Management Platform.

Cookies record your consent preferences to prevent repeated prompts.

IP anonymization enabled (“_anonymizeIp()”).

d) Zoho PageSense, Zoho SalesIQ, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and Typeform are used for analytics, marketing, live chat, and form processing as described.
All rely on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and may involve EU–India data transfers under Standard Contractual Clauses.




9. Data Recipients

We only share data with service providers and partners in accordance with the GDPR and BDSG.
All processors are contractually bound to confidentiality and data protection obligations.


b) Web Hosting
Our site is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Köln, Germany.
Data are stored on EU servers.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

10. Security Standards


HausVorteil implements appropriate physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.
All partners and providers are contractually obligated to confidentiality and may only process data for authorized purposes.
